• wants to change the word “feminist” to *choking noise* “genderist”, not to mention the fact that he is constantly talking over women
• (like seriously why are people heralding this cishet white dude as some feminist hero)
• that whole thing where he keeps letting white people replace pocs
• and said summer glau looked “asian enough”
• let’s not even start with the racism on buffy
• the part where he fired charisma carpenter for daring to be pregnant
• this totally cissexist “joke”
• whitewashing wanda and pietro (british, joss, really?)
• isn’t doing a post credits scene for AOU bc he’s still wanking about shawarma 
• steve rogers (obviously this one is objective)

I was gonna reblog this as it was but it turns out that I am still angry enough at Joss Whedon to go dig up some links!

• made a joke post once about how his proudest achievement in Avengers was “getting “mewling quim” out there to the masses”
• made a gross comment about how reavers fill the “monster” role in a western normally filled by the apache (essentially calling them apache with the “racial aspect” removed)
• taking a junot diaz quote about poc representation and experience and applying it to white women
• THE THING – this is where i get so mad that i can’t type about it in a nice bullet point lmao – the thing that killed joss whedon as a feminist for me forever was thinking that his gross idea of “reforming” a sex worker character through a rape storyline was so good that he used it to pitch an entire series to others
