Job interviews be like: “Where do you see yourself in five to ten years?”

CAN I RANT ABOUT THIS LINE? OK, it was clever, but then 40 minutes (or whenever. jesus, the movie felt like it lasted 8 hours) later, Ultron kidnaps Natasha for no apparent reason and EXPLAINS HIS EVIL PLAN TO HER. Like, don’t mock that trope if you’re going to use it, because then you look EXTRA STUPID.

“Okay, so I told myself I wasn’t going to do this, but it’s really bothering me that nobody actually gets what I’m doing here.  I spent so long coming up with this plan, and its sheer elegance is wasted on you peasants.  This is unacceptable.  So, please, sit down.  Are you comfortable?  Would you like some more coffee before I begin?  Another donut?  No?  Suit yourself, though I do warn you this presentation is quite lengthy.  As you can see here with my first slide, this is–”
