GUYS THIS IS AMAZING

SERIOUSLY

6000 YEARS

STORIES THAT ARE OLDER THAN CIVILIZATIONS

STORIES THAT WERE TOLD BY PEOPLE SPEAKING LANGUAGES WE NO LONGER KNOW

STORIES TOLD BY PEOPLE LOST TO THE VOID OF TIME

STORIES

@siavahdainthemoon This is relevant to your interests

@kibumunnie this is absolutely relevant to my interests, I thank you for thinking of me

I’d like to add this to the pile of evidence for the people who get all “but HISTORICAL ACCURACY” when it comes to whiteness and fairy tales. Because apparently some of these stories could nearly predate the ability of human beings to evolve light skin, and definitely are older than the ability to digest animal milk.

Will we see the discourse goalposts move to pre-historical accuracy?

Snarkiness aside, I really wish the disciplines would communicate more in matters like these, because I think that the implications for our greater cultural consciousness regarding human mythology and modern sociological structures are kinda cool?
