I feel like at that point you can give any answer.  I’d probably go for “wow, you’ve really given me something to think about,” but equally valid:

– Point at a random mole on your skin and insist it’s the reason

– Feign existential panic, run out of room (bonus: you are now no longer in a room with that person)

– Incredibly bored sounding “just cuz,” shrug

– Extremely in-depth gender studies lecture, feel free to make up terms and citations as needed

– “Why not?”
